Bo Ivester - President

After graduating from Clemson University in 1995, Bo began his first job as a sales representative for his uncle and legendary company founder Marcus McDonald. In 1999 Bo left McDonald Enterprises to become Southeast Regional Manager for List Industries (McDonald Enterprises longtime locker manufacturing partner) where he managed a school equipment dealer network across 9 states. He married his wife Joy in 2000 and they now have 3 beautiful kids (Ella, Emily and Will). In early 2007 Marcus McDonald became terminally ill with lung cancer and approached Bo about purchasing the business. A deal was struck and Bo has been at the helm ever since. Sadly, Marcus passed away in November of 2007. Bo’s prior knowledge of McDonald Enterprises and it’s employees made for a seamless transition and the company has continued to grow under his leadership. McDonald Enterprises celebrated 48 years in business in the spring of 2020.
